Hello everyone! I wanted to take this time to talk about a new opportunity I've been granted. Effective immediately, I will be working part time with Leo Duel School as its primary Ritual Summoning instructor. I hope that students who take my classes both enjoy their time, and learn a lot about my personal favorite summoning mechanic!

Why is Ritual summoning your favorite, to a point where you would take that position?

I'm not too sure of the reason, when I picked up the game I just gravitated towards ritual decks. When I was getting my Doctorate, I did my thesis on the nature of ritual summoning, and how it could be improved, as when I graduated it was widely considered the weakest of the summoning mechanics.

I see, there is something to be admired if you appreciate a method so much, that you would have written about it.

Yep. Thankfully modern ritual summoning has improved by quite a lot, and many interesting ritual decks have come to the forefront. I suspect I'll have many students interested in learning about Megalith and Mitsurugi.

I can only hope that such lessons will resonate well with any students that you gain. I know that, unlike a dedicated school, the lessons offered by LDS are much more condensed and focused.

That does have its pros and cons though. A more focused lesson leaves less room for weaving in lessons from other disciplines. I worry I won't get to make much mention of how ritual interacts with the other summoning mechanics in enough depth.
